Natural Therapies We Do
The typical nature therapies include acupuncture treatment, herbal medicine, medical massage (Chinese Tui-na), cupping, moxibustion and qigong exercises. With acupuncture treatment, it is accomplished by stimulating certain points of the external body. Herbal medicine acts on organs internally, while qigong tries to restore the orderly information flow inside the network through the regulation of Qi. These therapies appear very different in approach yet they all share the same underlying sets of assumptions and insights in the nature of the human body and its place in the universe.
Acupuncture Treatment
Acupuncture treatment is among the oldest healing practices in the world, and is a key part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
In TCM, the body is seen as a delicate balance of two opposing and inseparable forces-Yin and Yang. Yin represents the cold, slow, or passive principle, while yang represents the hot, excited, or active principle. Health is achieved by maintaining the body in a "balanced state"; disease is due to an internal imbalance of yin and yang. This imbalance leads to blockage in the flow of Qi (vital energy) along pathways known as meridians. Qi can be unblocked by using acupuncture treatment at certain points (acu-point) on the body that connect with these meridians, which is gateways to stimulate, manipulate and redirect the Qi. By inserting very fine needle into these acu-points an acupuncture treatment can unblock the Qi to improve the body's own healing response and help restore its Yin-Yang nature balance.
Herbal Medicine
Traditional Chinese herbal medicine is one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world. It is primarily concerned with establishing and eradicating the cause of ill health through holistic treatment of the individual. Herbalists use whole plant extracts and believe that by using plants in their natural form, many of the side effects associated with modern medicine can be avoided. The doctors prescribe combinations of herbs (carefully selecting up to 20 from a total of 300) specifically suited to treat you and your condition. Each prescription is therefore tailor-made. The herbs are being processed and to be cooked and drunk as a decoction or taken in tablet or capsule form, to resolve the problem.
Chinese Medical Massage (Chinese Tui-na)
Chinese Medical Massage differs from western massage in that finger and palm is applied using a wide range of techniques. It uses techniques and manipulations to stimulate acupuncture points of other parts of the body surface so as to correct physiological imbalances of the body and achieve curative effects. For soft tissue injuries, Tui-na relaxed muscles and tendons and promotes smooth passage of the channels. It also promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis. It is both relaxing and therapeutic.
Cupping
The procedure involves placing glass cups over specific pointes on the back and then heating them to create a vacuum. It unblocks lymph nodes along the spine, which in turn helps the body to work more efficiently. Cupping also stimulates tissues to release toxins and activates the veins.
Reflexology
Reflexology is sometimes known as zone therapy as the body is divided in to different zones represented by a point on the foot or hand. Nerve endings are imbedded in feet and hands that hen travel to the spinal cord and to various parts of the body. Traditional practitioners believe that simulating these nerve endings helps to improve circulation, activate Qi (vital energy) in the body and also promotes relaxation and wellbeing.
Allergy Test
The Allergy Analysis safely and effectively determines which specific substances are triggering your allergy related symptoms. The test analyses about 400 substances in order to identify the cause of allergic reaction . The potential accuracy lies between 85%-99.9%.
